The 1200 x 1200 Concrete Storm Water Pit is made from MRTS70 Concrete and has AS3600 Concrete Structures. The 1200 x 1200 Concrete Storm Water Pit features MRTS72 Manufacture of precast concrete elements and has been fitted with a Knock-out design for easy pipe fitting and installation. It also features a cast in swift lift anchors, making handling and installation much easier. The addition of lifting and rotating equipment helps improve safety and productivity when it comes to the installation of the Concrete Pit. Concrete Pits are used to providing access and maintenance of junctions, changes of gradients, and changes of direction of site storm water drains and are crucial for efficient stormwater systems.
A number of pit sizes and risers are available for a variety of purposes. A range of galvanized steel grates and covers are also available to suit most domestic and light industrial or commercial site applications. Where pits are exposed to heavier traffic, cast-iron framed Class D covers or grates may be used.
