Australians typically benefit from high standards with regard to health and hygiene. Meeting these standards is just one of a long list of benefits of our Aqua Nova (AQ) Waste Water Management Systems. However, citizens of developing countries may not be so lucky. And that’s where we come in.
Aqua Nova Projects Overseas
The Everhard Foundation’s main goal was to create a system that would prevent waste from entering the ecosystem, could be easily maintained, and would improve the health and well-being of those living in the area.
Our first overseas project was in Mystery Island in 2010. Everhard was commissioned to work on a complete hygiene solution for a small resort, including the installation of Aqua Nova. Up to this point, the island had no sewage system in place.
Everhard provided guidance and installation on everything water, including:
- Water-saving fixtures
- Taps and basins
- Toilets
- Urinals
- Complete AQ systems
Everhard also provided a solar energy solution for the tanks’ electric functions.
In 2012, Everhard also worked with to install AQ systems in Fiji. Aqua Nova systems were installed in a new housing development area, accompanied by a solar energy solution.
In addition, in 2017 Everhard worked with local government in Uruguay to install AQ systems. To find out more about the project, visit Aqua Nova Uruguay.
Looking to the future, Everhard has been busy planning the installation of AQ systems in Vanuatu. These will accompany flat-pack homes in new housing developments.
