The Everhard Industries Foundation was established in the early 2000’s by the major shareholders of Everhard, the late Selwyn and Beryl Davis, to give a portion of our proceeds back to the community. The Everhard Industries Foundation has so far donated more than $400,000 to community and charitable causes including Wetland Care, Water Aid, The Climate Institute, and UNICEF.

In 2016, as part of our 90th Anniversary celebrations, we worked to raise funds for WetlandCare, a conservation organisation dedicated to protecting and restoring our natural wetlands and wildlife habitats. Funds raised helped WetlandCare to restore the banks of Cabbage Tree Creek, regenerating the habitat for native flora and fauna.

In early 2017, staff at Everhard had the opportunity to nominate their favourite charities to receive funds in the annual distribution round. This resulted in funds going to charities as diverse as Dry July to a specialised Perth playground for children with a disability.

In 2017, the Foundation also had the opportunity to get involved with a local Brisbane charity project by installing two bathroom vanities into a property being restored for use as a homeless shelter.

In 2018, the following charities were nominated by staff to receive a donation from Everhard Foundation:

  • Beyond Blue
  • Bravehearts Foundation
